Having issues with my s90 car says key not found and sometimes key fob wont open car has anyone else had this issue .changed fob batteries as i though

Try the other key? The one in question hasn’t got wet has it?
I washed one by mistake (left it in my joggers) my mistake ( my car befor so a jag key) which didn’t work properly afterwards but some electrical switch cleaner saved it and me a large bill to,supply and reprogram
