2015 XC60 61K miles. burned valve problem.

Since 1994 I have been owning Volvos exclusively, beginning with a new 850.
In 2018 I bought a 2015 XC60 with 31K miles including all of the maintenance records and CarFax. It has every Volvo option. This past weekend, on a trip, a burned valve wrecked the engine.
I am so disappointed.
Is there anything that Volvo can do to ease the financial burden since the car only has 61K miles—driven only 10k a year?

what your experiencing is the problem with 10,000 mile oil changes with thin oil. When I get through my warranty period, I’ll be changing the oil at every 5,000 mi.
