I was going to buy an Osmium /Blond Inscription with Vision/Convenience/Comfort, B&W Sound, Child Booster, Air Suspension & Urban Styling with Skids. It was a demo with a little less than 3,000 miles on it. MSRP $72K. Price agreed = $66,500. Even though it was a great deal, I couldn't convince myself that I loved the Osmium Gray, so I'm going to build one today. I don't want the booster or the Urban Styling package. I am debating the B&W Sound and Air Suspension. Not sure what deal I will get now, as I think the dealer wanted to move that particular one off of the lot.
I got 8.5% off a 2017 T6 Momentum Plus with Vision Package and 20" 5 spoke diamond cut wheels. Worked with about 6 other dealers who all told me that wasn't possible.
I just ordered a 2017 XC90 R-Design in Bursting Blue with the following packages. I live in Seattle and worked with 3 dealerships, until two dropped out, and the third wouldn't go any lower. Potentially could have negotiated more, especially since we don't need the car until February with an expanding family, but I don't think any local dealers were going to be cutting much more of a deal.
Decided to forgo air suspension because we didn't notice much difference in highway or light off-road even with 22's. Also to avoid potential long term costs of fixing an air suspension which I understand can be pricey. Also had no use for the climate package in our temperate weather, and you can't use a heated windshield with the HUD and the R-Design steering wheel is by default not heated.
YXC145, way to go. That's a great deal. I ended up getting 8.0% off on a 2017 T6 Momentum Plus with Vision and Convenience Pkg. At the time I felt i was towards the end of negotiating, the dealer didn't want to give up more. But I got what I was looking for.
The lease deal for the 2017 r design is 5k down, 815 / month for 10k / yr.
I have priced those out and they are coming back @ over $1,000 / month for 15k/yr.
I may be able to get the 2016 for $3,000 down, 810/mnth for 39 months, 15k/yr. stick is 83k. it has over 20k off sticker.
Being active duty Military overseas, we get great deals on new Volvo's. I brought a brand new special order how I wanted it 2017 T6 Rdesign with Bursting blue Metallic paint, Convenience package out the door for $50,640. Base price was $45,920, Metallic was FREE, 60% off convenience package so I got that package for just $720 instead of $1800. No taxes and picked up at my base in Germany when I arrived from Japan. Hope that helps other Military members in the future.
I am negotiating with the dealers in Seattle and the lowest I could get to is $56.5k + tax etc.. for vehicle MRSP $60.5k
This was for: MY18 Momentum T6 with:
- white
- packages: momentum plus, convenience
- 20in wheels
- child booster
- heated steering wheel
I used Costco plan. Unfortunately I wasn't eligible for conquest deal as I don't drive their what they consider competitive brand now..
Any help or thoughts how to get an extra 3k? I'm willing to pay 52-53k..
On Sunday I negotiated the purchase of a 2017 XC90 T8. The sticker is $84,010 (vision, climate +HUD, convenience, sound, leather dash, blah blah blah lots of stuff). I got them to $77,000. Signed on the dotted line. I also got a decent trade for my 2013 XC90 w/ 66,000 miles on it which was $21,000.
New member based in SoCal and wanted to get feedback from the community to help me make my decision about XC90 T8. Was offered 13% off on R-Design as well as Inscription. Both cars have comparable options with HUD, Convenience and Vision Pckg. With similar packages, the total price offered is very close for both cars; any suggestions on which car to go move forward with will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Yeah, that is amazing deal since they would barely budge on the Inscription a year ago. Supply issues and newness worked against me. I would have loved 4% off at the time.
